Mark Willis is a firm believer in Jesus Christ.  He knows he has been saved by God’s grace.  He has always believed there was a God, but he never really knew him.  Thanks to him being a loving God and God of second chances, he has been given one, and for that he’s grateful.

His drug of choice was meth and the lifestyle that came with it.  While using meth he began to neglect the people that loved him the most and he didn’t like the person he had become.  Little did he know he would need God soon enough.  In 2003 he ended up in jail, he had never been in jail and didn’t know how to handle it, so he asked the lord to help him through it.  He started reading his bible a lot and got to know the real God.  He felt God healing him immediately.  The more he learned, the more he wanted.

When he was released 6 months later he heard a good friend of his, whom he had grown up with, Eric Girvin, had started a program called Celebrate Recovery.  What a blessing it has been for him, and he has been involved ever since and he loves it.  He says his faith has grown tremendously.

Mark is now in leadership for Celebrate Recovery.  He wants to be able to help people that are going through what he went through and introduce them to Jesus Christ. Because with God there is no obstacle you can not overcome. 

He would like to thank Celebrate Recovery and thank Jesus for molding him into the person he is today.
