C.S.F.P. (Cheese) Commodities
(Senior Citizens—60 and older)
The CSFP Commodities donated by the Kentucky USDA are for Senior Citizens who qualify for this program. Proof of their residence, income and age are required upon applying for this program. A certain number of boxes are supplied for us to distribute. If regular list is full, applicants are put on a waiting list until an opening becomes available.
Requirements for Applying:
- Be a resident of McLean County
- 60 yrs. of age or older

How to Apply:
You can apply for CSFP Commodities on the day they are handed out which is on the Wednesday after the 3rd Tuesday of every month. This is done at Heaven’s Groc. Store Food Pantry, 465 Hwy 136E, Calhoun, Kentucky. If you think you qualify or have questions feel free to contact—Sharon L. Barnett—270-785-4027.
Other Information:
- A box of food goes to each eligible individual in a household, but if an individual is living with others in household their income is also considered.
- As for Women of small children (most women would rather receive “Wic†because they can get a lot more food from “Wic.â€) They cannot receive both.
- A box of food contains—cheese, cereal, juice, fruit, vegetables (can), pasta, peanut butter, fruit (can), meat (can), pudding, evaporated milk, dried beans and powdered milk.
