Heaven’s Grocery Store Food Pantry and TEFAP Commodities are for low income families.
Heaven’s Grocery Store Food Bank is located at 465 Hwy 136 E.; Calhoun, KY. It is located next to Heaven’s Grocery Store Food Pantry. The food bank receives donations from “Feed the Childrenâ€, “Jimmy Dean (Sara Lee)â€, “Tysonâ€, “Bremner Cookiesâ€, “Bread of Lifeâ€, “CRS One Sourceâ€, “Scott Paperâ€, “Unilever (Ragu)â€, Calhoun Baptist Church, Bethel Baptist Church, Mt.Vernon Baptist Church, Christ Gospel Church, Calhoun Holiness Church, No One Left Behind Tabernacle, Buelah General Baptist Church, Calhoun Christian Church, Calhoun UMC, Madisonville Christian Food Bank, Hopkins County Fiscal Court, Miles Employee Charitable Fund, Miles Enterprises, Green River Auto Parts, Mid-Town Automotive, Miller Tire, Whitaker Trucking, Calhoun IGA, several Sunday School classes from Calhoun Baptist Church, McLean County Fiscal Court, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Athletic organizations, Youth groups, Tyson Animal Feed Plant, and many individuals in McLean and surrounding counties.The food bank #1 distribution priority is keeping the shelves filled at the food pantry. Food is distributed to many area food pantries.
Requirements:
1. You have to live in McLean County (proof required).
2. Your total household income can not exceed the state guidelines for McLean County (see income chart below):

Each family may get food once a month. The amount of food is based on the # in the household (see chart below). They may come and get clothes any day the food pantry is open. If you want to apply for this food you may go on any day the food pantry is open. The food pantry is open on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 9-11 am. You need to take a utility bill with you to prove your address. A volunteer will fill out an application for you and you may get food that day. The TEFAP Commodities are extra food that you get once a month in addition to the regular food. Here are the pounds allowed for the # in the household:
