Pallet Repair Service
The pallet business started January 2006. It provides employment to people who are trying to recover from drugs, alcohol & other hurts or hang-ups. Most of the employees are recommended by counselors from Celebrate Recovery. Others are hired from the public.
It is a starting place where individuals can learn good work habits, earn money to provide for themselves & others, learn how to live & act in a Christian environment & later be able to get a better paying job form the good work habits they have learned.
Skills are learned on how to repair pallets, build pallets from scratch, break them down, cut boards and notch runners. They also have an attendance point system to encourage being dependable.
Once a week we have a Bible devotional to share Bible truths. They work Monday through Friday, 7 – 3:30 and a little on Saturday when the need arises.
